Tabinda Shakeel is a Communications and Grants/Technical Writer at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, University of Alberta. She completed her PhD at the International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology in 2018, followed by postdoctoral studies at the University of Alberta. In her current role, She excels in crafting compelling narratives, persuasive grant proposals, and technically precise documentation, translating complex technical insights into accessible content for diverse audiences. Outside of work, Tabinda loves baking and decorating cakes, painting abstract art, and writing short stories.
